The ABOG Case List: Preparation and Defense For ABOG candidates, there are two parts to successfully passing your oral board examination: 1) preparing your case list and 2) defending it on the day of your oral exam. Each year, the case list is due no later than mid-August (with a late fee if submitted after the last day in July).
